Control Arm & Wishbone Replacement

Control arms locate the wheel. Once the bushes or ball joints wear, steering feel, tyre wear and braking stability all suffer.

Knock from the front?

Symptoms

  • Knocking over bumps or when braking
  • Vibration or wander through the steering
  • Clunk when turning at low speed
  • Uneven inner or outer tyre wear
  • Visible split or perished bushes, or a torn ball joint boot

What we do

  • Check each joint and bush for play on the ramp
  • Replace the arm complete or the bushes and joints where serviceable
  • Free off and renew corroded fixings as required
  • Torque suspension fixings at the correct ride height
  • Recommend an alignment check afterwards
